One of the best things about being a photographer is sometimes you can make amazing mistakes. When photographing my clients, I tend to keep my lens focused on my clients even when we are switching positions. You never know what your lens may capture in that moment. In two recent photos session I had the pleasure of catching two unplanned shots that were just beautiful. I never consider the shots as mistakes.  I tend to call them “Beautiful Mistakes”.  In one session I was blessed to catch the daughter cleaning the mothers face as they posed for their mirror-to-mirror portrait.  In the second, in the middle of a Mommy and me session.  I was trying to direct the son’s position. When the son left his arms and hands in a stop motion.  It is amazing the things that we can see through your lens that we may not see on a normal basis. I love the fact that my lens allows me to tell someone’s story through pictures.
